Interface Devices

CAN Bus or Serial Interface is used to extract data related to engine RPM, temperature or oil pressure and any engine control generated alarms. This data can then be shown graphically on the bridge or cabin mounted displays and, in the event of an alarm, be logged as a fault condition.

Engines

Engines

We use a PC based graphical package that communicates directly with our central PLC system. We have available a library of standard screen layouts and icons that can be readily configured or the graphics can be customised to suit your specific application and style.

Generators

Generators

CAN Bus interface enables the generator voltage levels to be monitored and the generator engine temperature, oil pressure and any alarm conditions to be monitored.

Marine Battery

Batteries

MODBUS interface enables battery bank voltages and current levels to be monitored.

Autocad

AC/DC Control

This allows monitoring and switching of AC and DC supplies to the various zones within the vessel and provides sequential control.

Lighting Control

Lighting Control

Depending on how the boat is configured, we can provide either zoned control of the AC or DC supply to the lighting systems or On\Off and dimmer control of specific lights via our graphical interfaces. Alternatively, for boats where a home automation system is fitted, we prefer to interface with the home automation unit.

Water and fuel tank

Water and Fuel Tanks

Our system typically provides the ability to monitor tank levels and the necessary controls to either automatically or manually pump fluid between tanks.

Fire Alarm

Fire Alarm

Our system can interface with the fire alarm controller so that in the event of a problem a specific zone can be identified and the crew can be directed to the area.

Navigation Lights

Navigation Lights

Our systems monitor the current drawn by the navigation lights and therefore, in a light failure, the crew can be immediately alerted and the fault logged.
